Lauren Quijano-Gin (she/her)
”As a second-generation daughter of overseas Filipino workers, I have witnessed how my family and community have experienced challenges and hardships from multiple systems. I aim to create systemic change and lead efforts to better redirect resources to historically marginalized groups.
Because of that experience, I have engaged in on-the-ground organizing work and, from there, explored my skillset in capturing impactful stories of what people experienced and naming the gaps and flaws in systems. I want to transform those stories into resources to provide more tools and support to community leaders fighting for systems change. By uniting passionate advocates, I believe we can create connections and address systemic oppression in all sectors.”
