These are heavy times for our communities as ICE raids terrorize our neighbors, our clients, our families. While we resist and protect each other, we feel the weight of this crisis in our bodies including the hypervigilance, the exhaustion, and the grief that sits in our chest.
Your nervous system is doing exactly what it was designed to do in times of threat. Understanding this response can help you find your way back to your body, your breath, and your power.
Join us for an hour of learning, breathing, and tending to the parts of yourself that keep you going. This session is designed for anyone who shows up for our communities while navigating their own stress and grief.
What to Expect:
Simple, accessible language about how your nervous system responds to crisis
Understanding the connection between your body and the work you do
A gentle practice to help you recognize regulation in yourself and others
Space to breathe without having to explain your pain
Tools you can use immediately, for yourself and in your work
