On November 4th, we’re taking a huge leap into the next chapter of our organization, capturing our values, work, and intentions in our new name: Social Justice Partners LA.

We’re excited to be launching our fourth cohort of the Systems Change Accelerator with ten powerful leaders tackling the root causes of Los Angeles’ most pressing social problems.

We launched SJPLA’s Racial Equity in Homelessness Initiative to shift the culture and workforce of the homeless response sector to center racial and social justice.

We are thrilled to introduce the first cohort of Racial Equity Fellows who will lead this charge across the sector.

SVPLA is thrilled to announce that we’ve made $360,000 in grants to six visionary, Black-led organizations reimagining community care and public safety.

On August 6, 2020, nearly 400 people joined us for our first Virtual Fast Pitch and, while we weren’t sure what to expect, it exceeded our hopes in so many ways!

We hosted a 90-minute webinar on September 10th for any staff, Board, or Partners interested in learning more about our approach.
