“Our initiative is important because it advances a future where sex workers, especially Black, Brown, trans, queer, immigrant, disabled, and low-income workers, can live with safety, dignity, stable housing, healthcare, and community care free from violence, stigma, discrimination, and fear.
When we improve the lives of the most marginalized in our communities, we create a stronger, healthier future for everyone.”
With over 20 years of communications experience, cee sando (he/ they) has dedicated their career to amplifying the voices of marginalized and under-resourced communities.
As Communications Lead at Sex Workers' Outreach Project Los Angeles (SWOPLA), a mutual aid and peer support organization, cee brings their lived experience as a Black, queer, trans, immigrant to the development of strategies that build visibility, strengthen community power, and challenge stigma through authentic storytelling.
