“Our initiative is important because we are dedicated to powersharing while changing the youth serving system to better prioritize the people who experienced it and people to come. We are educating young adults and creating tools that can help us all in this battle to end homelessness. We are also empowering and promoting young adults and their expertise. ”

La'Toya Cooper is a proud mother of two, born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She aspires to be a changemaker and innovator within youth-serving systems. Rooted in her community, she works to empower young people, challenge inequalities, and shift systems to truly serve the people they’re meant to support.
